*August 31, 2021* As I am preparing to re-open Volta in my new hometown of Phoenixville, PA I will be requiring proof of vaccination for everyone seeking an appointment. Due to the intimate nature of my work and the surge of Delta Variant, I must continue to adapt to the safest options available to us. Thank you for your cooperation!
*February 12, 2021* We are pleased to announce that all service providers are fully vaccinated. We will continue to implement all of of COVID-19 procedures for everyones safety.
I wanted to share with you an update of how I am dealing with the reopening and what your experience will look like once you feel ready to come in. Because of the nature of my work and how intimate it is I will be taking many measures to assure the safety of you, myself and all clients who will come in after you. We are currently accepting all appointments except waxing that requires you to remove your mask.
What your experience will look like:
The day of your appointment you will receive a text message to fill out a new online consultation form and a COVID-19 symptoms form. These must be filled out before arrival.
Upon your arrival you will text me and I will let you in when everything is ready for you. We will no longer be using the hair salon entrance, back door entrance only. If I’m not ready for you I kindly ask that you wait in the back parking lot.
A mask must be worn at all times. When you enter you will wash your hands and your temperature will be taken.
For massages you will keep your mask on for the entire service, for facials you will keep your mask on until an acrylic cover has been placed above your face. You can still expect the same high level services as always.
I will no longer be accepting cash payments but now can accept contact free credit card taps as well as google pay and apple pay. I can also send you an invoice on your phone through PayPal if you prefer.
What else I’m doing to assure everyones safety:
I will continue to operate under the strict sanitizing guidelines that have always been in place for the massage and skin care industry.
This has always included, among other things, stringent hand and arm washing before and after each appointment and washing and sanitizing all linens after each use. Additionally -
I have placed 30 minutes between each appointment to have sufficient time to thoroughly clean every surface that could come in contact with another person using a virucide cleaner.
Service providers temperatures will be taken between each appointment and logged. This information is available for anyone to see.
A HEPA filter has been added to the treatment room to help filter airborne particles.
Service providers will wear masks and face shields at all times as well as changing aprons between each appointment.
Hand sanitizer will be available in multiple locations.
What we expect from you:
Don’t come if you don’t feel well. But please let us know in advance
Please arrive on time. Not late, nor early. We will only let you in when the previous guest is gone and the cleaning process is complete.
Please plan on wearing a mask at all times
I know that not everyone is ready to come back yet, I also know that whatever lies ahead will come with big learning curves. I ask for your patience as we all dip our toes back into this ocean of uncertainty. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. If you are ready, click here to book your appointment! I look forward to seeing you, whenever that might be. -Sarah
